Cooking with the tandoor

Owning a tandoor opens up a whole new world of Indian cooking. Unfortunately the rarity of domestic tandoors in the UK and US makes tandoor recipes hard to find so I've largely been forced to adapt back to the tandoor those recipes which have already been adapted once, to conventional domestic kitchens. But there's no need to worry since I've found that it's extremely easy to get excellent results.

I intend to add recipes to this section as I try them. I'm a bit behind at the moment so there are just a couple. Nag me if you want more.

In general meats and vegetables are pushed onto long skewers which are then stood in the tandoor. Breads are cooked by being stuck to the inside of the oven.
